The tower of Punta Pagana was a defensive building located in the hamlet of San Michele di Pagana in Rapallo province of Genoa. The sixteenth watch tower is located at the creek between Trelo and Prelo, within the fractional cemetery of the resort.

Since 1981 it is owned by the Italian Environment Fund (FAI)

The construction of a defensive tower or sanctuary in the sanctimilian territory made it very necessary for the increasingly numerous landings and assaults of the barbarian pirates who, throughout the sixteenth century and the following century, plagued the Ligurian coast.
Rapallo built a true castle (Rapallo castle), around 1551, for the village of San Michele di Pagana, opting for the construction of a simple watchtower.
